Pop-Ups
Many Internet users now have pop-up blockers to stop annoying web advertising. Unfortunately this software also sometimes blocks legitimate page links. This course may occasionally instruct your browser to open a new window when you click on a link to an external web site for optional content. We recommend that you allow pop-ups from this site or add thelearningportal.ca to your trusted sites list so that you can easily access this extra information.
Please Note: The final exam for this course and the course completion certificate require that your browser be able to open a secure window. You will not be able to write the exam or receive your certificate if a pop-up blocker prevents these windows from opening. Please consult your Internet browser, search toolbar (e.g.: Google or Yahoo) or anti virus or firewall security software help files for information about disabling pop-up blockers.
Here is a fairly up to date browser specific list of suggestions that might help if you are not sure how to disable your pop-up blocker(s):

For an optimal experience of this course, it is recommended that your screen resolution be set at 1024 x 768 or higher.
